Vtg William Spratling Sterling Silver Copper Moon Sun Earrings Pin Pendant

  

This item for sale is a fabulous William Spratling set from my own Mother's jewelry box. We have had this set in our family for over 60 years. Originally they were 2 sets of non-pierced earrings. You can see in the center where the finding was removed.

In the 70's she had them changed over to pierced posts with a top loop added in the center so the earrings hang left to right. Originally the earrings were vertical with the moon on top. The second pair was her sisters, each had a pin pendant made. The earrings weigh 17.5 grams combined.

The smaller pin/pendant weighs 8.5 grams. The large pin weighs 54 grams and measures just under 3.5 inches across and 2 inches north to south. The other three pieces measure approx 1 & 3/8ths inch across.
