Vintage Trifari Alfred Philippe Sterling Grape Moonstone Fur Clip & Earrings Set
Vintage Designer TRIFARI Fur Clip & Earrings Set. Here is a very beautiful and highly collectible vintage sterling fur clip/pin and earrings set designed by renowned head designer Alfred Phillipe for Trifari. This jewelry is exquisitely crafted in a fruit and leaf motif with lovely luminescent faux moonstone milky glass cabochons, glittering ruby red crystal rhinestones and sparkling clear crystal rhinestone accents all set in a gorgeous gold tone vermeil over sterling silver. The lovely pin clip is shaped as a cluster of dangling faux moonstone grapes with ruby red rhinestone accents hanging from a golden leaf vine that is embellished with shimmering touches of clear rhinestones.
The pretty matching earrings share the same components as the clip, each having a single faux moonstone grape cabochon accented with a ruby red crystal rhinestone, set in a golden swirl shape that is embellished at the top with sparkling pave set clear rhinestones. The fur clip measures 2" tall and 1 1/4" wide. The earrings measure 1 1/8 long. All pieces are marked on the back with the designer's Crown Trifari hallmark. Additionally, the fur clip is stamped with Sterling as well as Des Pat No 140898.
The earrings are not marked sterling, however, they too are stamped on the back with Des Pat No 143989. For reference, I have included in my pictures the patent copies issued for the fur clip and earrings designed by Alfred Phillipe. The condition of this fabulous jewelry is extremely good.
