This listing is for a pair of vintage Zuni earrings handcrafted from Sterling Silver and Turquoise inlays. NOTE: Please view all 19 photos. Last photo shows the earrings being modeled. Handcrafted in the mid century by who we believe to be a Dishta family member, these post earrings feature a delicate flower like design of sterling silver with inlaid turquoise followed by silver droplets.
All of the inlays are in great vintage condition and portray light blue to green color hues with subtle matrixes. The back of the earrings have their original posts which are sturdy and straight. Two pairs of backs will be included with the earrings and are photographed in the last photos. The silicone backs are brand new. The silver has been tested and proves to be sterling. These classic Dishta earrings are light weight, perfect for daily wear, and go great with today's vintage trends. They will make a great addition to any collection of fine Native American jewelry.Weight - The earrings weigh about 2 grams a piece, 4 grams total. Earring Measurements - Each earring measures just a hair over 1/2 wide. Signed by Artist - NO.
Stamped Sterling - NO, tested and verified. Condition - Preowned, in very good vintage condition with original stone inlays and naturally aged patina, ready to wear or display. I treat every item as if it were my own. Extra bubble wrap and packing materials are used to ensure a safe arrival to its new owner. (the perks of living a mile from the post office).
