This is a beautiful pair of sterling silver and enamel floral earrings by Margot de Taxco, circa 1950s. These were converted to pierced from the original screwback and so the hallmark is not totally clear, but you can make out "de Taxco" and Margot's inventory #. The clasps are posts and clutches, the enamel is beautiful! Hallmark: Made illegible due to the conversion, but I can make out "de Taxco" and Margot's inventory # that starts with "5". The secondary hallmark on the other earring is also in the same format as Margot's markings. Size: 1 3/8" x 3/4"; Grams: 10. Condition: Excellent vintage - I have only lightly buffed, you may wish to polish more - enamel is in great shape - earrings have been converted from original screwback to pierced posts.
