The sterling silver earrings are set with quality, collectible LONE MOUNTAIN turquoise stone. There is light patina on the silver, no damage to stones or silver. The earrings measure 1" x 1". This jewelry is not pre-owned, which also means that it is not used. It is new but may look pre-owned because of the natural toning/patina it has taken on in storage in the last 16 years.

It is normal for silver to take on a color after being exposed to the air for some time. Rather than take all the time to polish it up since we have so much we are just leaving it as untouched nostalgia. Some of it actually has the old black magic marker pricing written on the underside still. We bought a large coin collection from a client here at our brick and mortar coin and jewelry shop and along with it was all of this amazing beautiful turquoise jewelry. His parents used to have a retail shop and both shared such a love for this stuff. So theres the story about this collection.

We hope you enjoy looking at all of it. While the many kinds of turquoise stones have obvious characteristics, a single mine can produce stones of various color, hardness & matrix.

It is also possible for separate mines to produce similar looking material. Many experts can disagree on particular stones & the mines they originated from. Unless you are the miner of the stone, or were present when the stone was mined, it is very difficult to verify the mine that it originated from. We are making our best educated guess using our knowledge & research of Native American turquoise jewelry. You can trust that these stones were mined in the United States (not China) and that they are in 100% hand-made Native American jewelry, most of which is vintage.
