1970s vintage Bernall Natewa Zuni Petit Point Turquoise Sterling Silver Earrings. A magnificent pair of 1970s vintage sterling silver & turquoise earrings. Masterfully made by Zuni artist Bernall Natewa & signed on the reverse. Never before have I seen such beautiful turquoise as the stones on this piece, with its varying hues of blues and greens. Sadly, my camera failed to capture the softer tonalities in the turquoise -- it is more beautiful in person. Some of the stones show a bit of the natural matrix. They all have a polished luster and low-profile cabochon cut and are securely set in handformed sawtooth bezels, framed by lovely silverwork in a rope and raindrop motif.

Each earring measures 1 7/8" total length and 7/8" across at its widest (approximately 48 x 20 mm). Total weight for both earrings combined is 11.1 grams.
