Vtg Thunderbird Necklace & Earrings Santo Domingo Depression Era Sterling Silver

  
I had a Depression Era Santo Domingo necklace and earring set that was missing the original beads, missing an earring, and had a broken tab, so I decided to piece it out into two different projects, see my other auctions for the other necklace. With the single earring and two tabs I decided to make this necklace and earring set, using all antique beads, vintage cord, Navajo silver bench bead, a natural old Santa Domingo turquoise focal bead, very well aged white seed beads, and antique red Venetian white heart trade beads. The earwires are old stock, mid century, but have no oxidation because they have been packed away for decades. Necklace measures 25, plus the 2.5 drop, and the earrings measure 2.5.

This is a great chance to own an affordable and good quality Santo Domingo Pueblo / Kewa battery bird. I wanted to give these pieces new life, and I think they turned out pretty damn nice.
