This beautiful necklace measures 22 " from end to end, the middle pendant is slightly larger than the rest at 1-9/16" long by 1" wide , and th e re are two size beads 1/4" & 5/16. The earrings measure 1 " long and 7/8 " wide. The total we ight of the set. All three pieces are stamped with the makers hallmark FE.

It is believed that the best Morenci ever produced was discovered in the late 1960's to early 70's. During this time period, the mine produced a high, electric blue variety with iron pyrite inclusions that, when polished, often looks like silver.

One of the first American turquoises to come on the market, though it is very difficult to obtain now because it is no longer being mined. Because of its striking color and unusual matrix combinations, high grade natural Morenci is a valuable, highly collectible mineral. The set has been tested and examined for purity and is sterling silver.
