This, in addition to the heritage behind it, is what makes this jewelry so special. Originally from Gallup, NM, my family has a collection of Native American jewelry that has been kept locked away- for decades in some cases. We are now ready to release these items for sale. From the 1970s through the early 2000s, my parents and grandparents owned and operated Native American jewelry and southwest gift shops throughout the southwestern United States, and the torch has now been passed down to me.
I was surprised to learn that many of these incredible items have never seen the light of day; they were never put out for sale in ANY of their several locations! For me, theres a nostalgic quality to doing this. I recall meeting people from all over the world as a young adult, working in my familys shops.
I loved learning about the history and symbolism behind the pieces. I miss those days dearly; being able to walk into any of our shops to the smell of incense and leather.
But, due to increasing overhead costs, we updated our way of reaching customers and moved to being strictly online. The item "Vintage zuni sterling silver turquoise earrings" is in sale since Monday, July 1, 2019. This item is in the category "Jewelry & Watches\Ethnic, Regional & Tribal\Native American\Earrings".
The seller is "raiandsunshine1" and is located in Tucson, Arizona. This item can be shipped worldwide.
