DESCRIPTION: This exquisite set features the Yayalag Cross, which is famous throughout Mexico. These distinctive Crosses were originally made in a town called San Juan Yalalag in Oaxaca. Yalalag crosses have existed since the 1500's as a tradition brought from Spain. This fabulous set features a large pendant, along with matching earrings with screw-back findings. This tremendous set will be a valuable addition to your collection of fine vintage Native American jewelry. MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 5" x 2 3/4" and weighs 34.5 grams. Sterling silver box chain measures 20 and weighs 3.6 grams. EARRINGS measure 3" x 1 1/2" and weigh 26.0 grams.

PLEASE NOTE: The screw-back portion of the earrings is marked ALPACA, for Alpaca silver. However the rest of the earrings, the pendant and the chain are all 925 sterling.
