Please see this gorgeous mid 20th century solid 925 sterling silver Mexico natural amethyst signed los Castillo matching necklace brooch and ear ring set. Total weight 54.9 grams. The necklace is right 15 inches long more like a choker but could be lengthened with a little chain extender very easily , the brooch is 2 5/8 inches across at its widest point signed and numbered with a good straight pin and working closure , the earrings are screw backs and can be easily converted to post , all three pieces have beautiful natural amethyst 6.5 mm cabochons that have turned color a little from age and being worn maybe even a little moisture. This three piece set Is marked number 310 on the back of the brooch and is actually 980 silver much more pure then 925 sterling silver. It has survived the test of time for many years now and showing is gentle signs of wear consistent with age it is a very rare and beautiful creation by one of the Mexican Renaissance sterling silver era's finest , the mid 20th century Taxco los Castillo jewelry makers.
