Vintage Retro Estate Mexico, Taxco Sterling Silver Spiral Earrings withOnyx

  

Sterling silver spirals are the theme of these glamorous vintage retro pierced earrings made in Taxco, Mexico. I was able to find a few faint and hard to read hallmarks etched into the bottom of one earring which appear to read "925", "Mexico" and what I believe to be the word "Taxco". Being somewhat familiar with the brilliant Mexican designers of the'30's - 50's, this seems to be an accurate representation of that bold, playful, structural style. The total length is 2 3/4 including the tops and the total weight is 15.9 grams (that is of course including the onyx drops). These are a sophisticated pair of earrings with movement and shine, guaranteed to get attention!
