Vintage jewellery delightful Japanese toshikane rose necklace sterling silver

  
A delightful vintage sterling silver framed Japanese toshikane rose flower pendant and chain. The chain measures 45 cm long and is stameped sterling for sterling silver on the clasp. The pendant measures 3 cm by 2.5 cm. There is an exquisite relief design on japanese porcelain to the centre. This is by Toshikane and is stamped with their makers mark on the back of the ceramic. The rose flower is in exquisite relief detail and is glazed in glossy pink which shows up beautifully against the satin black background.

The toshikane image is framed with an elaborate sterling silver border which is stamped on the reverse with a sterling Silver Birmingham hallmark and a date letter for 1978. It is a superb vintage pendant and chain and remains in excellent condition.
