Earring Backing Style : Clip-on backings. Your jeweler can easily convert these to the preferred backing style you desire. For Pierced or Non-Pierced Ears : Pierced. These earrings were handmade during the Art Nouveau era and composed of gold wash over. Each earring features an upper domed floral motif. Sterling silver was bent and twisted by hand using the filigree metalworking technique to create these floral motifs.

Beneath the floral motif dangles two cap-like designs of curling filigree sections. From each design, twisted sterling silver strips dangle in two tiers, providing eye-catching swaying movement when worn.

Completed with clip-on backings for secure wear on pierced or un-pierced ears. One earring is missing a single upper dangling strip. Some of the other dangles are bent, and this can easily be repaired by your local jeweler. There is light wear to the gold wash in some areas, exposing the sterling silver underneath.
